Answers to our most common questions
How do I register?
Registering your new account is free and takes only a few minutes. Please note that all fields must be completed in order to register successfully. We will create a default password based on your information and send you a confirmation SMS and email.
How do I login?
To login to your profile you can navigate to "Login" at the top right of our website. For SMSfactory clients, please visit: www.smsfactory.co.za (SMS factory) website to login.
Can I test my new account?
We will give you R2 free credit and a user guide to get you started. Your are also welcome to call on 010 140 1490 for assistance.
How much does an SMS cost me?
Standard SMS rates range from 16c to 25c per SMS. Please view our pricing page for accurate costs. If you buy in bulk you pay less!
Are there any other costs involved to send SMSs?
There are no set-up fees, monthly fees or hidden fees. The credits that you purchase will only expire in 12 months from the purchase date. (This applies on should there be no activity on your profile) Users do not pay for replies.
How do I buy credits?
We work on a prepaid basis. You can purchase credits online via Credit card, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Direct Bank Deposit. Please see our “Purchase” SMS page for more detailed information.
Do i pay Tax on purchases?
Our company is based in South Africa and therefore only South Africans will be charged VAT (Value Added Tax).
How long does it take the platform to deliver SMS messages?
Messages are delivered within approximately 5 seconds. Each user account has the ability to send out 1000 SMS's per second through our gateway.
Do you provide status reports for the undelivered messages?
All messages will have a status report whether successfully delivered or not. To view the reports, go to “SMS sent” report on your online profile.
Do you support replies to SMS's?
Yes, recipients of messages that you send via our system can reply to your messages. The reply messages will be posted to your replies inbox in your account. You can also have replies forwarded to an email address or to a cell number if you prefer.
